Let the pictures start the conversation

Before reading the words, look at the light coming from the golden book. Ask your child to point to a favorite color or describe something they spot. Later, compare this bright picture with the scene where the colors begin to fade.

Give the story a second life

After reading, invite your child to draw a place using just one color. Then ask which second color they would add and why. You can read Rumble’s story together in paperback or as a Kindle eBook.
